A Purposeful Restart

Starting over was the cost and all the same it was worth it. Where does one even begin? I started at the end- a purposeful restart. This included the boxes of belongings, the ruined notion of comfort, and the devotion from my support system. Spoiler: the latter is the only one that matters at length.

A secure support tribe can transform the timeline and success of starting over. We all need those who genuinely believe in us. Whether we are starting a new hobby, attempting to make a decision, or choosing to start over. This tribe will be everything at once: a cheerleader, a role model, a best friend, a listening ear, and a shoulder for crying.

I once heard, “if you do not want to be like the person you are spending the most time with then you should not be with them”. This person should be within the “tribe” of support and if they are not perhaps it is indeed time to start anew.

Thank you to my tribe for opening my eyes and mind to this purposeful restart.

Love you always.

Yours Truly,

Sara
